Practice Pepper Sprays

Use a water based inert practice pepper spray to learn how to properly aim and strike a potential attacker. These canisters are filled with water and under pressure, just like any can of pepper spray would be, making it easy to simulate an actual stream of spray and hit the targeted zone.

Water based pepper spray is perfectly harmless and will not damage your clothing or cause any reaction to your skin, since it is only water in a can. They are relatively inexpensive, so you can practice using a pepper spray, without wasting very much money.

They are available in several sizes to better simulate what the actual spray will do, and make you more proficient and comfortable with using pepper sprays. We also carry an inert Fogger Spray as well, so you can compare and decide which pepper spray product would be better for your safety needs.

What Does It Mean When It Says Inert?

It is an inert practice pepper spray, meaning that there are no harmful or active ingredients in the canister. The practice spray is just that....made for practice and training purposes. If you get any of the liquid on your skin or clothing, or breath in any fumes, it will not hurt you in any way. Inert Practice Pepper Spray is filled with water, in an aerosol can, to simulate how actual pepper spray will dissipate from the dispenser.

Use it to learn how to properly hold and aim a pepper spray at a target, and learn which type of spray would be best for you and your needs. We carry a stream water based inert spray and an inert fogger spray as well.

How Far Will The Pepper Spray Shoot?

As with any real canister of pepper spray, the 2 oz size inert practice pepper spray will shoot a stream from 10 to 15 feet. The 1/2 oz size can will spray 6 to 8 feet.

Will An Inert Pepper Spray Expire?

Just like any aerosol container, the air can leak out over time and render the contents useless. The pressurized air in spray canisters expand and retract, due to temperature and altitude changes, much like the air in your tires. Eventually, the air seeps out, but the contents that remains is still good, only it cannot escape through the nozzle, without the pressurized air to extract it.
